Past Research

In addition to helping build the new Alberta Diabetes Institute (ADI) at the University of Alberta with a 10 million dollar pledge, ADF supports research to help find a cure for diabetes.  Annually, ADF gives grants to the ADI which allows Dr. Peter Light (Scientific Director) to invite ADI members to apply for research dollars for pilot projects.
